Versatility is the key here, so experiment and use your favorite sweet and savory ingredients to build these beautiful 2-bite treats. For a savory take, try roasted butternut squash, roasted red peppers, sautéed shrimp and a sliver of garlic. For a sweeter pincho, pile bread with a honey-rosemary-goat cheese spread, roasted butternut squash and sliced fig, but remember, you have to secure your masterpiece with a toothpick for it truly to be a pincho!

Lynne
Lynne is passionate about food which can be attributed to the fact that she was fortunate enough to grow up with a mother who was an incredible cook, a father who grew a garden that was the envy of the neighborhood and 6 siblings who all love to eat! Lynne is a second-generation American. Her grandparents are all from Portugal and the traditions and food of this country have had a big influence on her and inspired her to learn about other cultures and their food.
A popular snack in Northern Spain is demonstrated for a farmers' market crowd by Lynne Viera. Pinchos (Spanish for spike) start with small slices of bread with layers of ingredients secured by a skewer. Lynne uses roasted butternut squash, beets and red peppers, sautéed shrimp and slivers of garlic. Versatility is the key here. Figs, green olives, cheese and your favorite sweet and savory ingredients will build these beautiful 2-bite treats.
