I have baked these cookies many times they are an awesome recipe. Thanks so much for the recipe Lynne! Everyone I make them for absolutely loved them. I have only one problem and I hope Lynne or anyone who has an answer can help. I make a whole bunch of these at Christmas time. They come out of the oven nice and crisp. I store them in plastic containers to keep them fresh of course. And after only a few hours they completely soften up into almost a soft baked chewy cookie. Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

These are not only awesome to eat, but are the first cookies I've ever made that actually bake as expected. They don't expand and run together or give you any trouble at all. You just get a great cookie, which is how it should be!
