If you've heard a lot about Absinthe but aren't sure what to do with it, consult Chris Keating. He's got a light, refreshing idea for you that perfectly pairs the inviting licorice and fennel flavors of Absinthe with a jolt of grapefruit flavor.
Makes 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
- ice
- a generous amount of Absinthe
- splash of simple syrup
- Jamaican grapefruit soda (Ting)
- 1 whole lime,
How-to
- Fill glass part-way with ice
- Add a generous amount of Absinthe and a few ounces of simple syrup
- Fill remainder of glass with Jamaican grapefruit soda
- Finish off with a few squirts of fresh lime juice
- Stir and enjoy!
