Red Lentils (good for soups or a side dish)
- 1 cup uncooked lentils (pick through them for stones and give them a good rinse before cooking) will yield 2½-3 cups of cooked lentils
- salt & pepper to taste
Lentilles du Puy, Green or Black Lentils
