About Sarah Bacon

Sarah is a traditional comfort food chef, that draws her culinary inspirations from the seasons, making classic apple crisps and pies to warm your soul in the fall and winter months. With a full time job as a Physician Assistant in the emergency room of a Southeastern Massachusetts community hospital and a husband and beautiful baby girl at home, Sarah relies on her many kitchen gadgets to make her cooking and baking more efficient and fun!

Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 2 dozen treats

  • 4 cups cornflakes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 bag mini-marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • green food coloring
  • red hots/hot tomale candies for garnish

How-to

  1. Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat
  2. Add vanilla and food coloring
  3. Add cornflakes and coat fully
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper
  5. Add red candy to garnish
