Recipe

Ingredients

  • strawberries
  • different colors of candy melts (wafers)

How-to

  1. Melt candies (chocolate) over double boiler, or in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring every time
  2. Dip strawberries into chocolate, and use the side of the bowl to scrape off excess chocolate
  3. Place on wax paper until dry (just a minute) for drizzle
  4. Pour melted chocolate into a plastic bag, snip off a tiny corner, and with a steady back and forth motion, drizzle over the top of the strawberries
  5. Let dry and refrigerate if not being eaten right away

These are sooooo easy to make and you look like you spent hours making them. I had 20 minutes before guests arrived and was able to finish making a whole batch of them. That, and they were an instant success with my guests! (Feb 14, 2009 11:09:11 AM)

These are awesome. So tasty and so easy to make! I could pass as a professional fruit-covering-chocolate individual when I make these! Thanks Maria! (Feb 12, 2009 3:34:30 PM)
