Ingredients
- 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 lb of feta cheese (crumbled)
- pepper to taste
- 1 lb phyllo dough
- 2 sticks of butter (melted)
- sesame seeds
How-to
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Make the Filling
- In a small bowl, add eggs and cream and stir
- Add feta and mix until the feta is covered and the consistency is thick
- Add pepper
Prepare the Phyllo Dough
- Lay out the phyllo dough on a flat surface

- Add another strip of phyllo dough on top and brush with melted butter

- Begin to fold over the phyllo, along with the filling, from corner to corner in a triangular shape; do this until the whole strip is folded.
Bake the Tyropitakia
- Put egg yolk in a bowl and whisk
- Brush the egg on the folded triangle
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the cheese Tyropitakia
- Bake15-20 minutes or until golden brown
