Recipe

Ingredients

  • any type of your favorite yogurt
  • pita bread
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • dried mint

Special Equipment

  • strainer, fine sieve or cheesecloth

How-to

  1. Strain yogurt overnight over a dish in the refrigerator.  The remaining product is yogurt cheese or Labane
  2. Toast half a pita bread for 1½ - 2 minutes until crisp
  3. Spread pita generously with Labane, sprinkle with mint and drizzle with olive oil
