Julia, a native Alaskan, adores food but doesn't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. So naturally her talent lies in quick and easy snacks. Working closely with Olive Branch Olive Oil, she makes some of the most delicious pita bread snacks you have ever tried using Zaatar, Labane, and just simple spices.

Recipe

Ingredients

Zaatar

  • 2 parts thyme
  • 1 part sumac
  • ½ part sesame seeds
  • pinch two 2 of salt

Bread

  • pita bread, cut in half, toasted for 1½ to 2 minutes
  • pita bread

How-to

  1. Cut pita in half
  2. Spread olive oil onto pita
  3. Coat with Zaatar
  4. Toast pita for 1½ to 2 minutes
