• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs, room temperature
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 3 tbsp cornmeal
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup milk

Glaze/Topping

• 4 tbsp unsalted butter
• ½ cup packed brown sugar
• ¼ tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp nutmeg

Filling

• 2-3 small apples, sliced thin
• ⅓ cup pecans, chopped
• non-stick cooking spray
