<p> Phyllis Kaplowitz&#39; culinary career got off to a rocky beginning. At 15 years of age, with her father&#39;s assistance, she started working in a restaurant as a dishwasher.&nbsp; Fired after two days for apparently not doing a good job cleaning dishes, Phyllis found her passion in cooking. A Johnson &amp; Wales University graduate, she is now the Executive Chef of <a href="http://www.bakersbestcatering.com/">Bakers&#39; Best Cafe &amp; Catering</a>, in Needham, MA.</p>
