- 2.75 oz (approximately 1/3 cup) Mexican style chocolate (Taza chocolate includes Mexican chocolate with cinnamon or almonds, perfect for this tasty beverage)
- 16 oz water (just below boiling)
Special Equipment
- molinillo (a Mexican whisk - any regular kitchen whisk will do but this one is so festive!)
- pitcher for the hot chocolate

I'm Hispanic (Mexican descent), and this is about as authentic as it gets. :) My mom makes it in a large pot, without the frothing, but only because she can't be bothered with it. Great vid! (Aug 13, 2008 8:40:23 PM)
