A seasoned Beer Baron shares his expertise on the subject of Oktoberfest & Pumpkin Ale favorites. You might think you already know how to drink them but Remi explains how to get the most out of what these brews have to offer.
From art student to Beer Baron, Remi's passion for beer is evident through his extensive knowledge and appreciation of craft beer. As Manager of The Publick House, he is responsible for hand-picking the fine beers available to his loyal patrons. He's also had the opportunity to travel to Belgium to hone his Belgian beer expertise which comes in especially handy to Chef Brent (also on this site) who likes to showcase the beers in his cooking.

This is great! But you know what my favorite beer this time of year is? the Pumpking by Southern Tier Brewing Company - so delicious - tastes just like pie. It's pretty hard to get your hands on though so if you see a bottle - scoop it up! (Oct 15, 2008 6:19:31 AM)

Pretty cool! I'll have to try the Victory Oktoberfest. As far as Pumpkin ales go, a personal favorite of mine is Dogfish Head's Punkin Ale. Good stuff. I love this time of beer... I mean, year. (Oct 2, 2008 1:39:01 PM)
