- 1¼ cup quick rolled oats
A light and fluffy sour cream dough with maple syrup, ginger and cinnamon, produces these dreamy drops courtesy of Josie Morse and The Big Apple Farm. Add a dusting of powdered sugar and savor the deep flavors of maple, oatmeal and brown sugar.
Josie Morse majored in Baking & Pastry at Johnson & Wales University. She grew up on The Big Apple Farm in Wrentham, MA, owned and operated by her family. In season the farm has 24 varieties of apples, 28 types of vegetables and Pick Your Own blueberries, raspberries & apples. They also have homemade cucumber pickles in barrels, vegetable plants, decorative sunflowers, Christmas trees & greens. Bakery goodies include homemade donuts, hand-dipped candy, caramel apples and many flavors of pies.
