Bartholomew "B" was born in London, reared in Chicago and grew up in New Orleans. He got his cooking start at Jacques-i-mos, a popular Creole spot in the Crescent City. Covering for a friend in the kitchen, he became the sous chef for the next two weeks, after all but one employee walked out the night before. Notebook in hand he received an intensive 2 week crash course in Creole cooking. He made it through and then happily returned to his second home - slinging drinks from behind the bar.</p>
