Pizza Toppings & Baking Tips

Serves 4


  • pizza dough (we recommend Chris' recipe for a crispy, chewy crust)
  • 2 oz pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • olive oil
  • guanciale (cured pig jowl) or bacon
  • egg


  1. Spread dough out on flat surface
  2. Ladle pizza sauce on middle of pie, then spread around leaving enough room for crust
  3. Apply clumps of mozzarella cheese, but not too much
  4. Add a little olive oil to taste
  5. Preheat oven to highest temperature (450 or 500)
  6. (For Guanciale & Egg Pizza) Add guanciale
  7. (For Guanciale & Egg Pizza) Add egg in middle of pizza then put pizza in oven
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes
  9. Slice and serve
