Makes 1 Cocktail


  • ice
  • 2 oz red vermouth
  • 2 oz black currant juice
  • ½ oz black sambuca
  • 1 oz creme de cassis
  • prosecco sparkling wine

Garnish (optional)

  • fresh currants on the vine

Special Equipment

  • pint glass for mixing
  • cocktail measure
  • cocktail strainer
  • fluted glass for serving


  1. In a pint glass filed with ice, add vermouth, black currant juice, black sambuca and creme de cassis
  2. Stir, then strain into a flute glass and add a splash of prosecco
  3. Garnish with fresh currants on the vine (optional but gorgeous!)
