For the Simple Syrup

• ½ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup water

For the Drink

• splash club soda
• 2 oz bourbon
• ½ oz sweet vermouth
• 1½ oz peach juice
• ½ oz brown sugar simple syrup
• ½ oz lemon juice
• ice
• peach slice for garnish

Make Simple Syrup

1. Combine brown sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat and stir over medium-low until sugar just dissolves
2. Remove from heat and let cool
3. Cover and refrigerate for up to a week

Make Cocktail

1. Fill a rocks glass about halfway with ice and a splash of club soda
2. In a mixing glass, combine bourbon, sweet vermouth, simple syrup, and juices
3. Shake with ice and strain over chilled club soda
4. Garnish with a peach slice
