Agave Simple Syrup (use proportions for amount desired)

• 1 part agave nectar
• 1 part hot water

For Cocktail

• ½" slice of jalapeno
• handful of cilantro
• ¾ oz agave simple syrup
• ¾ oz fresh lime juice
• 1½ oz tequila
• ice to fill shaker & glass
• jalapeno slice to garnish

Make Agave Simple Syrup

1. Mix agave nectar with hot water and stir to dissolve
2. Cool to room temperature before use

Mix Cocktail

1. Muddle jalapeno in a mixing glass. Add cilantro
2. Add tequila, agave simple syrup and lime juice
3. Add ice, cap with shaker and shake vigorously
4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice, garnish with a slice of fresh jalapeno and enjoy
