Tiki Wings

Serves 2-3 as an appetizer


  • 9-10 chicken wings
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sambal olek (spicy chili sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • canola oil to fill 3" in small to medium pot
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut (fresh or sweetened)
  • mint & basil leaves, torn

Suggested Garnish

  • lime wedges


Prepare Sauce
  1. In a large bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, sambal olek and sesame seeds
Fry & Assemble Wings
  1. Fill a small to medium-sized pot 3" with canola oil and heat to 350°
  2. Fry chicken wings 5-6 minutes until golden
  3. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil
  4. Toss wings in chili sauce mixture and plate
  5. Top with shredded coconut, torn basil and mint leaves and garnish with lime wedges
