Irish eyes were smiling on us when we were combing the area for great Irish inspirations. We found charming Dermot Quinn from County Offaly, Ireland, of Greenhills Bakery who shared his Granny Murphy's traditional Irish Soda Bread recipe. Not only is the bread wonderful, but his charm and Irish accent are irresistible. He also makes heavenly scones and award-winning apple pie so stop by and see him sometime. Kevin Carey from Verrill Farm paid tribute to Ireland with his Shepherd's Pie while keeping it local by using their very own grass-fed ground beef. Beloved hero Clare Garland of Ashmont Grill created a heavenly dessert that mimics a perfectly poured Guinness by layering THE most moist Guinness Cake with Irish Cream Sabayon. And our very own Kelsey combined 2 perfect things you might not normally put together to create one perfect drink: Guinness and Ice Cream!
